High Commissioner of Solomon Islands Presents Credentials.

The President of the Republic of Fiji, His Excellency Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote received credentials from Solomon Islands High Commissioner to Fiji, His Excellency William McDonald Soaki at Borron House on Thursday, 13th December 2018.
His Excellency the President of the Republic of Fiji presents the lali to His Excellency William McDonald Soaki after the Presentation of Credentials at Borron House, Suva.
His Excellency Soaki presented his credentials after inspecting a guard of honour mounted by officers from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces. Prior to his appointment, the new High Commissioner served as Minister Counsellor, Solomon Islands High Commission in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea from 2012 to 2014. Prior to his current appointment, His Excellency Soaki served as Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and External Trade since 2015. He attained his Post Graduate Certificate in Diplomacy and International Affairs and his Bachelor of Arts in History/Politics and Geography from the University of the South Pacific.
