The President of the Republic of Fiji, His Excellency Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote officiated in the annual Remembrance Day celebrations at the National War Memorial on Sunday, 11th November 2018.

The Commander-in-Chief and the President of the Republic of Fiji receives a wreath during the Remembrance Day at the National War Memorial, Suva.
The Head of State was received by the Prime Minister, Honourable Voreqe Bainimarama upon arrival before the actual formalities began with the singing of the national anthem. The event was also attended by Fiji Ex-Servicemen and their families including the British Legion and Members of the Diplomatic Corps, Disciplined Forces, Senior Government Officials and other distinguished guests.
