His Excellency Officiates as Chief Guest at the Fiji Day Celebration in Labasa.

A sea of blue flooded the streets of Labasa as thousands converged to celebrate Fiji Day on Wednesday, 10th October 2018.
Members of the public turned out in numbers during the celebration at Subrail Park in Labasa.
Patriotism was high as Fijians proudly waved their flags and cheered through the rain and sun. Fijians came in numbers including 21 ministries, over a thousand school students, the Republic of Fiji Military Forces band and Private sectors. The programme also included items performed by various cultural groups and a military parade which was reviewed by His Excellency Major-General (Ret'd) Jioji Konusi Konrote. The programme ended with a military tattoo.
