His Excellency Archbishop Martin Krebs, the Apostolic Nuncio to the Republic of Fiji paid a farewell call to His Excellency the President Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote on Tuesday, 07th August at Borron House, Suva.
His Excellency Archbishop Martin Krebs receives a gift from His Excellency the President Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote.
Archbishop Krebs (56) was born in Essen, Germany. He was ordained a Roman Catholic priest in 1983, and after obtaining a doctorate in Canon Law entered the diplomatic service of the Holy See in 1991. He was ordained an Archbishop in November 2008. Archbishop Krebs has worked in a number of Apostolic Nunciatures namely in Burundi, Japan, Austria, the Czech Republic, the European Union and the United States of America. In September 2008, Monsignor Krebs was appointed Apostolic Nuncio in Guinea and Mali.
