Special Investiture Ceremony for Outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Fiji His Excellency Kim Seong-In

His Excellency Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote in his capacity as the ‘Chancellor of the Order of Fiji’ presented the Order of Fiji Award to the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Fiji,
Ambassador of Korea His Excellency Kim Seon-In receiving the 'Medal of the Order of Fiji' from His Excellency Major- General (Ret'd) Jioji Konusi Konrote.
His Excellency Kim Seong-In on Friday, 05 January, 2018 at Borron House.
The President acknowledged Mr. Seong-In’s efforts in enhancing the relations between the two countries.
"Fiji considers itself very fortunate to have a close partnership with Korea and we are keen to enhance our relations and bilateral cooperation," President Konrote said.
The Head of State also acknowledged Korea’s assistance towards the construction of the Biomass facility in Sigatoka that will help Fiji towards the goal of achieving one hundred percent renewable energy by 2030.
In attendance for the Special Investiture were His Excellency Kim Seong-In’s close family members, the Minister for National Security, Defence and Immigration Honourable Ratu Inoke Kubuabola, Reverend Isireli Kacimaiwai and Senior Government officials.
