His Excellency Major-General (Ret'd) Jioji Konrote, received a courtesy visit from the New Zealand Prime Minister The Right Honourable, Jacinda Adern at the State House, on Tuesday, 25th February, 2020.
His Excellency Major-General (Ret'd) Jioji Konrote and The Right Honourable Prime Minister Jacinda Adern with their respective spouses at the State House.
The courtesy visit was part of Prime Minister Adern's four-day visit to Fiji. Her visit further strengthens the long-standing, close relations between the two nations.
The courtesy visit was concluded with a presentation of gifts and followed by the planting of a Pritchardi pacifica - Fijian fan palm at the State House grounds.
Accompanying Prime Minister Adern to the courtesy were Rqaj Nahna and His Excellency John Curr, the New Zealand High Commissioner to Fiji.
