Non-Resident Ambassador of Georgia to Fiji Presents Credentials

His Excellency Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote received the credentials of the Non-Resident Ambassador of Georgia to Fiji His Excellency George Dolidze on Tuesday, 13th March at Borron House.

Mrs. Dolidze, His Excellency George Dolidze and His Excellency Major General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote and Madam First Lady Sarote Konrote.

Ambassador Dolidze presented his credentials after inspecting a guard of honour by officers from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces. Prior to his appointment, Ambassador Dolidze was the Director of the Security Policy and Euro-Atlantic Integration Department at Georgia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2011 to 2017. At the Ministry he also held the position of Head of New Threats and Arms Control Division, Security Policy and Euro-Atlantic

Integration Department from 2005 to 2006. In 2011 Ambassador Dolidze was decorated with the Order of Honour. He was accorded Diplomatic Rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in 2017. The non-resident Ambassador would be based in Canberra, Australia.
