Presentation of i-Tatau by the Flying Fijians National 15s Rugby Team.

The President of the Republic of Fiji, His Excellency Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote conveyed his well wishes to the Fiji Airways Flying Fijians Rugby team during their presentation at the State House.

The Flying Fijians presented their i-tatau to His Excellency on the 11th July, 2019 at the State House Conservatory in Suva where he urged them to support each other at the Rugby Championship.
President Konrote said, “Please be assured that our well wishes and prayers will be going with you. I would like to remind you to remain focused playing as a team and look after one another”.
The Flying Fijians rugby team is currently an extended team competing in the Pacific Nations Cup and other test matches in preparation for the 2019 Rugby World Cup Tournament in Japan on the 20th of September. The Flying Fijian’s first match is against Australia on the 21st of September, 2019.
