The President of the Republic of Fiji, His Excellency Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote received a courtesy call from Her Excellency Dr. Hilda C. Heine, President of the Republic of Marshall Islands on Monday 16 September, 2019 at Borron House.

President Dr Hilda C. Heine of the Marshall Islands receives a gift from His Excellency Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konrote the President of the Republic of Fiji.

President Heine was accorded a guard of honour complimented by the tunes of the national anthem of the Republic of Marshall Islands played by the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces band. Her Excellency was accompanied by spouse, Mr. Thomas Kijiner and the President’s Chief of Staff, Mr Chris deBrum.
