The President of the Republic of Fiji, His Excellency Major- General (Ret'd) Jioji Konusi Konrote received a courtesy call from the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Mr. Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein on Monday, 12th February, 2018 at Borron House, Suva.

Fiji's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva Ambassador Nazhat Shameem Khan was also in attendance at the Courtesy Call.
Mr. Al Hussein in on a three [3] day visit to Fiji and arrived into the country on Friday, 09th February, 2018 and was accorded traditional welcome ceremony by the Fijian Government.
The United Nations High Commissioner also paid a courtesy call to the Prime Minister, Honourable Josaia Bainimarama.
