Non-Resident Ambassador of Belgium to Fiji Presents Credentials.

The Belgium Non- Resident Ambassador to Fiji, His Excellency Marc Mullie presented his Letter of Credence to the President of the Republic of Fiji, His Excellency Major- General (Ret'd) Jioji Konusi Konrote on Tuesday, 27 February, 2018 at Borron House, Suva.

The Belgium Ambassador presented his credentials after inspecting a 25 member guard of honour by the Republic of Fiji Military Office. Prior to Ambassador Mullie's appointment, he was the Deputy Head of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and has served as Ambassador of Belgium to Malaysia.

Upon joining the service in 1988, he served at various permanent missions in Belgium and at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Mullie acquired a Master of Law from Ghent University and Master in International Archaeology.

Ambassador Mullie will be based in Canberra, Australia and therefore, is the Non- Resident Ambassador to Fiji.
