Courtesy Call from High Commissioner of the Republic of Fiji to Australia.

His Excellency Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote received a courtesy call from the High Commissioner of the Republic of Fiji to Australia, Luke Daunivalu on Thursday 18th March, 2021 at the State House Conservatory.

The courtesy meet allowed High Commissioner Daunivalu an audience with His Excellency the President before departing for Canberra. High Commissioner Daunivalu was in the country to attend the funeral of a close family member.

High Commissioner Daunivalu is the former Ambassador and Deputy Permanent Representative at the Permanent Mission of Fiji to the United Nations. He served as New York Deputy Secretary (Policy) and also as Counsellor/Deputy Permanent Representative at the Permanent Mission of Fiji to the United Nations in New York.
