President Konrote hosts 2020 Constitution Day Reception.

The President of the Republic of Fiji,His Excellency Major-General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote hosted a reception to commemorate Constitution Day, at the State House.
The President of the of the Republic of Fiji, His Excellency Major- General (Ret'd) Jioji Konusi Konrote and First Lady Madam Sarote Konrote at the Constitution Day Reception held at the State House.
During the 2020 Constitution Day Address, President Konrote thanked all students who took part in the Constitution Day competition through essays, videos, poems, and short stories
The winners are as follows : Raijeli Sakaria, a Year Eight (8) student from the Bhawani Dayal Memorial Primary School, Year 11 students of Labasa College,Year Eight students Jone Raibevu and Aminiasi Dalituicama form Rakiraki Methodist Mission School, Year 10 student Oswell Morell and Year One student Natania Damudamu of the Gospel School of the Deaf.
“We are grateful to the parents and teachers around the country who helped us make this year’s Constitution Day a success. I hope you had fun with your videos, and all learned something along the way,” President Konrote said.
The reception was attended by the Former President and Speaker of Parliament, Ratu Epeli Nalaitikau, Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama, members of the Diplomatic Corp and Cabinet Ministers.
