Office of the President hosts friendly volleyball match.

As Fiji’s Lead Advocate and Champion in the National campaign to curb the prevalence of Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) related ailments, the President of the Republic of Fiji, His Excellency Major- General (Ret’d) Jioji Konusi Konrote, First Lady Madam Sarote Konrote with the Staff of the Office of the President hosted the Commissioner Eastern Division and his staff to a friendly match of volleyball.

The match was held at the Lawn Tennis Court, State House Grounds during the Wellness hour at 3.30pm, on Wednesday, 29th July, 2020.
President Konrote strongly addresses the need to maintain a healthy lifestyle and to keep fit at all times. As a healthy nation makes for a productive and effective economy.
The friendly match was a commendable occurrence as it allowed for an opportunity to maintain physical well-being coupled with inter-agency networking and camaraderie for both Offices.
